Fullerton offers a variety
of activities for you and your kids. There is snow day where tons
of the frosty stuff is delivered to the park for children to go sledding,
make snow people, and have old-fashioned snowball battles. There
is also the Fullerton Museum which presents the best in multi-disciplinary
exhibitions and educational programs in the areas of history, science,
and art. You can also go to Heritage House
which was built in 1894 as the home and office of Fullerton’s pioneer physician,Dr. George C. Clark. |

In 1972 the house was moved from its original town
site at the corner of Amerige and Harvard (Lemon) to the Fullerton
Arboretum. The restored house now serves as a museum of family life
and medical practice of the 1890s. There is also the Muckenthaler Cultural
Center which is dedicated to the study, exhibition, and collection
of multicultural arts and the staging of the performing arts. It is
a multidisciplinary venue that celebrates the traditions of a variety
of cultures and encourages appreciation and creative expression in
art, music, dance, literature, drama, local history, landscaping and
botanical Downtown Fullerton is also a great place to visit, it offers
a rustic old town atmosphere with a cluster of more than seventy historic
buildings, beautiful shade trees, and decorative walkways, providing
a comfortable setting to gather with friends, enjoy music, and catch
up on the latest news. Fullerton’s downtown is more than just
another shopping center because it also serves as a vibrant cultural
center with facilities, such as the award-winning Museum Center, the
Downtown Plaza, and Plummer Auditorium. There is also a Night in Fullerton
which comes every April and showcases the community's art and cultural
riches, "A Night in Fullerton" will offer free music, art,
drama and dance programs at several locations throughout the city.
If you are a sports fan you can always visit the Cal State Fullerton
baseball team the Titans, who were National Champions in 1995. There
is alot to do in Fullerton come and join the fun. |
