When you are in La Habra you can always visit the historical sites which include La Habra's Birthplace which can be located at the Southeast corner of Euclid Street and La Habra Boulevard. La Habra's Birthplace is the original site of the town of La Habra's store and post office. La Habra was founded in 1896. The site now is that of a statue, which contains the bell of the first Catholic Church in the area. There is also the La Habra Pacific Electric Depot which is in Euclid Street and

is the site of the earliest railroad line in the La Habra area. The depot was moved from its original site across the street to complement a museum. The depot has been refurbished and now is used as a community theater. La Habra is also known for the Children's Museum, major retail shopping, a friendly environment for non-profit and charitable organizations, and a pleasant quality of life for our residents. The Children's museum offers a hands-on environment that opens the world to even the youngest child, this museum offers touch tables, a science station, changing exhibits and much more. La Bonita Sports Complex is located at Whittier Boulevard and is home to a skate park, multi-use rink and court, four lighted softball fields, playground and a concession/restroom building. This multi-million dollar facility was completed in 2006 and is a crowning jewel in the Citys park system. La Habra is also home to the annual Corn Festival, an event sponsored by the La Habra Host Lions Club that attracts several thousand visitors from La Habra and surrounding communities. The event is usually held the first weekend in August at El Centro-Lions Park. Make the right choice and La Habra is it .
