Laguna Hills has many outdoor activities but the most frequently visited is the Laguna Hills Mall. The Mall was renovated in the mid-1990s; Laguna Hills Mall is anchored by Macy's, JCPenney and Sears and features nearly one hundred specialty stores. Laguna Hills Mall is an average sized, enclosed shopping mall. The Broadway became a Macy's in 1996, and the mall has nearly 120 other stores, kiosks, and surrounding (on-property) stores ranging from baby apparel to fine jewelry. So if you want to shop your heart out visit Laguna Hills Mall for all your needs.

The mall is owned by Simon Property Group, the largest mall owner and manager in the United States. Mall management as of March 2006 consists of six management personnel, and twelve security personnel, or security guards. Some other great places to visit in Laguna Hills are Juan Avila Historical Monument, Fossil Reef Park and Costeau Park. Fossil Reef Park is 17 million years old and is the only preserved portion of Fossil Reef in Orange County. Fossil Reef Park is where you will find tropical shell reef associated with fossil rich beach sand.
