One of Orange County's beautiful cities, Laguna Niguel is giving you
the chance to come and join the community and be one of the city's
residents. In 1890 Lewis Moulton purchased 8,000 acres called Niguel Ranch, part
of the land was turned into Laguna Niguel, which has now transformed
into one of Orange County's prime cities. Originally built as a master planned community this fairly new city became incorporated in
1989 as Orange County's 29th city.
Laguna Niguel is part
of the surrounding Orange County metro area, the city is not an isolated
city.

Laguna Niguel is home to some 61,891 residents. Laguna Niguel
is primarily a hillside town with approximately 65% open space. Many
people are employed at the Federal Building, but the main industry
of the area is real estate. It is surrounded by the cities of Mission
Viejo, San Juan Capistrano, Dana Point, Laguna Beach and Laguna Hills.
The
city enjoys a healthy business climate and economic environment. commercial,
business and industrial land uses comprise eight percent of the total
land area of the city. |
