LakeForest is
located in the heart of South Orange County, California in east of
Interstate 5 and 405 Freeways near the Foothill and Eastern
Transportation Corridors, which provide easy access to Los Angeles,
San Diego, and the Inland Empire.
Being a young city Lake Forest is situated in the Saddleback Valley
adjacent to the 1,500 acre Whiting Ranch Wilderness Park and
beautiful Saddleback Mountains descriptively named for their
appearance. The city also serves as the gateway to Cleveland National
Forest.
The City also plays host to the headquarters for hard-drive maker
Western Digital and telecommunications software developer Green light
Wireless Corporation.
