Welcome To Newport Beach

Newport Beach, incorporated in 1906, is a city in Orange County, California, 10 miles south of downtown Santa Ana. Newport Beach is located fifty miles south of Los Angeles and eighty five miles north of San Diego Newport Beach's harbor is crowded with pleasure, fishing and tour boats, and its streets are busy with shoppers browsing at Fashion Island mall, tourists enjoying Balboa bars on Balboa Island and surfers tackling The Wedge or other hot spots along the city's 6.2 miles of

beaches. This fine city wasn't always such a desirable place. In the mid-1800s, the state of California sold parts of Harbor, Balboa and Lido islands for one dollar an acre as "swamp and overflow land," according to the Newport Beach Historical Society. But now the city has flourished making it one of the most desirable cities in Orange County. Newport’s charming little beach community has a scenic walkway that encircles the island, with the picturesque homes on one side and small sandy beaches and boating slips on the waterside.

Boutique shops and restaurants line Marine Avenue. There are two stands that are famous for their balboa bars and frozen bananas (both dipped in chocolate and rolled in the topping of your choice). So come make a home in New Port, it is the perfect city to live in.
